How do I book the trailer and transport?

First, use Continue to Booking to reserve your trailer through Neighbors Trailer, our third-party booking provider. After your trailer reservation is confirmed, transport services must be booked separately and directly through this website. Click this link to arrange transport. Submit your request for your confirmed rental dates. Transport is paid directly to Capital Region Trailer Rentals and is separate from the third-party trailer rental payment. Viewing a transport estimate does not book transport.

Towing Requirements & Pickup

Pickup and drop-off are available in District Heights, Upper Marlboro, and Columbia, Maryland. Your drop-off location automatically matches your selected pickup location and cannot be changed. Confirm your handoff address and times in advance. You need a tow vehicle and hitch rated for the loaded trailer, a 2-5/16-inch hitch ball and a 7-pin connection. The listed trailer load capacity is 5,500 lbs; confirm your vehicle’s fit and loaded towing setup before booking.

Cancellation Policy

At least 72 hours’ notice: full refund of the rental payment. Two days’ notice: 50% refund. One day’s notice: 30% refund. Credit toward future service is also available. Cancellation percentages apply to rental payment, separately from the refundable deposit.

Late Returns & Deposit

A $75 late fee is added to your rental payment. More than four hours late also incurs another rental day at the applicable rate. The minimum refundable deposit is $500 and is separate from your rental payment.
